Think of it this way: there are personal trainers who help support us with our fitness goals, right? Well, health coaches are like “trainers” for other areas of life, such as stress management, supplement routines, nutrition habits, and sleep patterns. We are all humans with big aspirations and goals wanting to reach the very top "yesterday" - working with a health coach to achieve your health goals in a realistic manner allows these goals to be maintained in the long-term.

Fascia is a term to describe the 'skin under the skin'. It is interconnected, woven around our muscles, organs and bones and is connected to our nervous systems. When we engage in repetitive movements like running, weight training, sitting for long periods of time, and even stressful life experiences, can all lead to adhesions in the fascia, leading to limited range of motion of our joints and internal organ systems (think stiffness and pain!). This non-invasive approach mobilizes your whole body, especially your glutes, hamstrings and lower back, and serves as a calming tool to regulate your nervous system. In other words, it will help to calm any anxiety you may have and leave you feeling stretched, mobile and pain free! I recommend it for anyone who works out, sits for long periods of time and/or experiences chronic anxiety and stress.

A Functional Reiki Practitioner and Trauma-Informed Life Coach goes beyond the traditional Reiki approach by integrating trauma-informed practices that address deep-rooted emotional wounds. This practitioner believes that early experiences, including those from as early as utero, shape who we become. With this philosophy, they are skilled at identifying and working through these foundational traumas that are often beyond the reach of conventional talk therapy.

Once these traumas are identified, the practitioner empowers clients to release the energetic grip they have on their body, enabling individuals to overcome emotional and physical barriers to well-being, and achieve a more profound sense of peace and alignment. It is particularly beneficial for those who feel "stuck" in their healing journey or have experienced trauma that is difficult to articulate or process through traditional methods.
